Responsible for initiating and progressing the development of sport at UCD in terms of participation, facility provision and sports funding. Suzanne is the Athletic Union Council Executive Secretary, manages the Sports Scholarship Programme and represents UCD on the boards of the Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Local Sports Partnership and Student Sport Ireland (governing body for third level sport).
As a member of the Sports Development team Paula is involved in the development and promotion of the UCD Athletic Union Council and its affiliated sports clubs. Paula holds an MSc. in Sport & Exercise Management from UCD and is a graduate of the I.T. Tralee BSc. programme in Health, Fitness and Leisure Studies. She has represented Shamrock Rovers Ladies Football Club at both National and Champions League level and is a former Republic of Ireland soccer international.
Tadhg plays a key role in the delivery, development and promotion of student club sport at UCD, with responsibilities spanning participation, communications, systems and operations.
He provides guidance and governance support to student-led clubs, contributes to system and process improvements that enhance club management and the student experience, and supports the implementation of initiatives aligned with the Athletic Union Council’s strategic priorities. Tadhg coordinates key annual events including the UCD Sports Expo and the UCD Sports Awards, leads targeted marketing and promotional campaigns, and manages digital content across the UCD Sport website and social media channels.
In addition, he manages the processing of over 500 sports scholarship applications annually, and oversees a range of operational functions including purchase orders / invoicing, Garda vetting applications, graphic design and the development of resources to support clubs.

Ger started in the position of GAA Development Executive in November 2015. A former teacher at St. Kevin's, Ballygall Road, he is a two-time All-Ireland winning footballer as well as a number of Dublin, Leinster and All Ireland Club Championships with St. Vincents. Ger studied teaching in NUI Maynooth and is also a graduate of DCU.
Josh joined UCD Sport in 2016 as UCD Gaelic Games Development Officer. His role comprises of supporting the GAA Development Executive in administrative duties in the sports office, recruitment of players, gaelic games sports scholarships, promotion and management demands of the 5 GAA clubs in UCD GAA – ladies and men's football, camogie, hurling and handball.
Responsible for the development of rugby on campus with particular emphasis on the management of the Rugby Academy.
Ciara started working for UCD RFC in November 2022. She is primarily responsible for the administrative duties, day to day running of the club & ensuring members are happy with club services.
Responsible for the development of men's soccer on campus including participation and promotion of activities. Diarmuid looks after commercial aspects of the Soccer Club and the UCD Superleague. A UCD Science graduate.
Ger has been with UCD Soccer Club since 2008 when he joined as the first team goalkeeper and was subsequently appointed as the goalkeeping coach in 2013.
Ger assists in the day to day running of the club with specific responsibilities including the Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Community project, the schools programmes and the hugely successful UCD Soccer Camps. Ger plays a major role in the organisation and running of the AIB UCD AFC Superleague.
