The new College Research Spotlight Wall was officially unveiled on Thursday, 5th February.
The research themes have recently been refreshed with new titles, imagery and plans in the context of UCD’s 'Breaking Boundaries' strategy. In parallel, there was an update to the bricks-and-mortar Research Spotlight outside the College Office.
At the heart of research in UCD College of Arts and Humanities are the eight research themes, which bring together the combined research excellence from across the College’s Schools, Institutes, Centres and subject disciplines. These strands provide a coherent and enabling framework for the development of interdisciplinary expertise and a refreshed approach to partnership, collaboration and public engagement.

The occasion marked a celebration of the College's eight research themes, with the Vice-President for Research, Innovation and Impact, Professor Kate Robson Brown, alongside our College Principal, Professor Regina Uí Chollatáin, and College VP for Research, Innovation and Impact, Professor Emilie Pine and colleagues from across the College and the broader UCD community.
The redesign of the Research Spotlight Wall was completed with the expertise of graphic designer Lorna Ryan McKeon.
